LET'S CREATE MEMORIES OF OUR GARDENS
In this workshop we will use actual leaves from our gardens, trees or household plants!
We will use them to create plates, wall hangings, bowls, jewelry or anything else we can come up with together. No experience working with clay required, all ages and skill levels welcome. Children younger than 16 must be accompanied by a registered adult participant.
Week one we will complete our forms which will be bisque fired before the second session. Week two we will learn techniques for finishing our leaf work using oxides and studio glazes. Participants will be notified when pieces are ready for pick up. Please allow 1-2 weeks after the last session for firing.

Celebrate Pride Month this June with a vibrant, hands-on ceramic carving and decorating workshop designed to celebrate the vibrant diversity of our community. Participants will start by selecting a pre-thrown, leather-hard clay vessel such as a mug, vase or bowl.
Next, use professional carving tools to etch personalized symbols and textures directly into the clay surfaces. Bring your designs to life by painting bold rainbow palettes using our high-pigment underglazes.
Our studio staff will then apply a clear, food-safe glaze and fire your finished masterpieces for pickup within two weeks.
This creative gathering honors the LGBTQIA+ community. Allies and individuals of all personal orientations are warmly welcome to create, connect, and celebrate together in this dedicated safe space.
Current students may register and bring their own pieces to decorate and will be credited $50 back towards their accounts.
